Overview

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a flagship youth development programme of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. At Pundlik Prashaskiya Mahavidyalaya, Amravati, the NSS Unit encourages students to actively participate in community service, social awareness, environmental conservation, and nation-building activities.

The motto of NSS, “Not Me, But You,” reflects the spirit of selfless service and emphasizes the importance of understanding community needs while developing leadership, social responsibility, and civic values among students.

Special Camping Programme

The NSS Unit organizes a Special Residential Camp every year in nearby villages to provide students with practical exposure to community living and rural development.
